Established in 2003, Security Training Center® is the only independent security officer training company that offers licensed training across multiple states.
We develop our own training material and programs. We do not license our lessons from other companies. Our in-house development team and advisory board have decades of experience in military, law enforcement, executive protection, private security, defensive weapons and martial arts. Furthermore, our team is comprised exclusively of educational professionals, many of whom hold advanced degrees in Adult Education and Training.
We offer printed materials to supplement our online programs. Again, we are the only online security guard training company that makes printed and professionally-bound manuals available that compliment our online training. These are not PDF downloads that the student prints; these manuals are ordered online, printed, and shipped to the student from Amazon.com.

We Are Professional Security Officer Educators
Private Security is a growth industry. Employers must ensure staff have the best training within available budgets. Security Training Center® is a professional security guard training company. Our purpose to educate security personnel and organizations in the latest protocols and techniques to keep staff, property and other valuables safe. A proactive approach to security awareness prevents many problems from ever occurring, reducing risk to staff and liability. We teach early identification of potential problems and how to defuse conflicts before reaching crisis.
Online System Requirements
Students must have access to an Internet-connected computer or mobile device with audio (sound). Students can use Microsoft Windows, Apple Macintosh, mobile phones, and tablets (iOS and Android). Audio (sound) is a critical requirement as the training is fully narrated. Over half of the information presented is in audio form.
Mobile device screen size must be at least 5.5-inches.
